Shaila, known as “Radio Royalty,” has enjoyed a storied career in radio and entertainment, she is no stranger to hard work which allowed her to spend a decade alongside legends like Vaughn Harper and Frankie Crocker. Beyond broadcasting, she’s known for her advocacy, founding initiatives like the “Kiss for the Cure” campaign for breast cancer research and the Sisterly Kiss Entertainment Foundation, supporting survivors of domestic violence. Shaila’s influence extends to mentoring and community work, including AIDS and diabetes awareness, and fostering relationships through workshops like “Mommies & Millennials.” Now, Shaila is bringing her activism and amazing energy to the Tri-State! Get ready for ‘Middays with Shaila’ on Classix 107.9, as she graces the airwaves weekdays, 9am-2pm, on ‘The Real Sound of Philadelphia’. The Lady B Show

Lady B, Philly born and raised, started her career at WHAT as an intern where she worked with Mary Mason. She got her first fulltime job at Power 99 as a full time DJ. She later transitioned to the competitor, 103.9 WPHI. Lady B has spent the majority of her radio career working in Philadelphia at stations like WRNB and Classix 107.9. Known as the bricklayer and trendsetter for hip-hop and its culture, Lady B has received several prestigious awards such as Philly Urban Legend Award and the King Peace Award, and many others. Her 30th anniversary concert featured a rap performance by then Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and a surprise performance from her longtime friend, Will Smith and Doug E. Fresh. Lady B is an avid Philly sports fan and an advocate in the community for organizations like Cancer Who? Hands Across Philly and 3rd Antioch Home School Center.

Manwell Glenn was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Overbrook High, Manwell went to school with our beloved Lady B.
Manwell has many experiences in Philadelphia, from watching Wilt Chamberlin playing, to becoming an eye witness of the musical endeavours Philadelphia in which paved the way for our musical advancement in Black Music month!
