The Dell Music Center put on a show for the ages last night (Aug. 15). A lineup that would take you back to the ‘good ole’ days’, the Philly fans was not disappointed by any means.
Lenny Williams was the first act, who took the stage with confidence of one hundred warriors. He serenading the ladies with “Can’t Nobody Do Me Like You”, “You got me running” before performing his most notable record “‘Cause I love you”.Â
Next up to perform onstage was the Manhattans. A group that was formed in the 1960’s in New Jersey, traveled across the bridge to show Philly fans that they haven’t missed a step. They got a standing ovation for the performances of their hits “Let Your Love Come Down”, “Kiss and say goodbye”, and “Shining Star”.Â
Next was a beautiful award presentation to Joan Myers Brown, Founder and Executive Artistic Advisor of PHILADANCO!, the Philadelphia Dance Company. Following the presentation was a illustrious performance from PHILADANCO!

Blue Magic was the next act to hit the stage, and they sure put on a show. Coming out in matching white suits, Blue Magic raised the bar with their performances of “Sideshow”, “Stop to start” and “Just don’t want to be lonely”.
Bloodstone came to the stage where they were greeted by an overwhelming applause from the Philadelphia crowd. Bloodstone announced that Philly will always be home away from home, as they were honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the National R&B Music Society in Philadelphia In 2019.
Bloodstone performed their most notable hits, including “You’re Still A Young Man”, “I Need Your Love”, and “I Love You for All Seasons” before closing the show.Â
