Arkansas is hosting its first sumo tournament featuring some of the world’s heaviest and widest sumo wrestlers at the Hot Springs Convention Center. The event is part of the city’s sister-city relationship with Hanamaki in Japan and precedes the Cherry Blossom Festival. The tournament will involve some of the world’s heaviest sumo professionals, coming in at 570 pounds.
