When Being a Tourist Goes Wrong  

A bold 24-year-old tourist named My-khai-lo was arrested after illegally visiting North Sentinel Island, home to one of the world’s most isolated tribes. The island has strict prohibitions, My-khai-lo took it upon himself to visit the indigenous people 3 times, unauthorized.  He even left a can of Coke and a coconut as a “peace offering.” Sadly, the offering didn’t leave peace because he faces up to eight years in prison for breaching protections meant to safeguard indigenous peoples.

This Ice May Make You sCream  

EasyJet unveiled a unique range of ice creams, including a snail and garlic flavor, to celebrate the launch of its new base at London Southend Airport. The escargot-inspired creation even comes with crunchy pieces of sugar to mimic a shell, taking its cues from Parisian bistros. It’s one of five adventurous flavors. Other options include ‘Spicy Tagine,’ packed with apricots and Moroccan spices.

Extended Test Drive  

Dexter Smithen was arrested in Hillsborough County, Florida, after being accused of stealing a Tesla Cybertruck during a test drive. Dexter gave the sales associate his driver’s license and signed a test-drive agreement to return the truck to the dealership within 30 minutes of leaving, which he did not do. The dealership made several attempts to reach his cellphone, but they were unsuccessful. At one point, they were able to track the vehicle and saw that Dexter had driven to a Home Depot, parked and went inside the store. He returned the CyberTruck days later leading to his arrest.
