New York City is infamous for its massive rat population, and while most residents do their best to avoid them, one man is making them part of his diet. A gut-wrenching video is circulating and shows the Bronx native casually dissecting a dead rat right on the sidewalk before taking a bite.

Starbucks
Coming out of California, a delivery driver was awarded $50 million after suffering severe burns from his spilled Starbucks drink. Michael Garcia required skin grafts and other treatments for his genitals after a venti-sized tea spilled on him shortly after he received it. Apparently, his injuries resulted in permanent life altering disfigurement.

Checks
If you’re wondering why, you didn’t get your tax return last year, this could be why. A 44-year-old man Washington D.C. native who is also a former United States Postal Service worker has been convicted of stealing more than $1.6 million in checks that never made it to their indented destination. The man changed the checks to be made out to himself or he falsely endorsed them, then he deposited them across at least seven bank accounts. During his short-lived come up, the man was living lavish, going on frequent trips, staying at luxury hotels and making several visits to and purchases from the strip club.
