As the Eagles head south the New Orleans, west coast legend Tooo $hort is headed east to represent the birds in the bowl!

Too $hort will be coming to City Winery PHL to perform his hit ‘Blow the Whistle’ in celebration of the big game!

It seems as though each year a team adopts a song to carry them whenever they’re in the postseason and this year, Too $hort’s ‘Blow the Whistle’ has served as the unoffical theme song of the team as they’ve made a push through the Playoffs.

With a huge help from Philly’s own Gillie da King, ‘Blow the Whistle’ has been blaring from every speaker during the Eagles playoff run and peaked at the top spot on Apple Music’s ‘Top 25: Philadelphia’ playlist. “It’s Really An EPIDEMIC” Gillie captioned on Instagram.

Too $hort is scheduled to be at City Winery PHL Wednesday, February 5th for a special Super Bowl LIX Pregame celebration concert.

Philadelphia and Oakland share sports ties, as two teams that originated in Philly (Philadelphia Athletics and the Philadelphia Warriors) both relocated to Oakland. Although both teams left for the west, it still give fans a special tie to the city.

The Special LIX Pregame celebration concert is happening Wednesday, February 5th. What better way to get hype for the big game then to get hyphy off of Blow the Whistle live in Philly.
